Middle Eastern Pastry Dishes For $200, Alex

A conversation:
Matt (while discussing some winter clothing needs):  I need a smock.
Me:  A smock?
Matt:  Yeah.
Me:  I don't think you mean a smock.  A smock is something you wear to paint in.
Matt:  Hmmm.  We'll see.  It goes around your face and head?
Me:  A ski mask?
Matt:  No.  It's not like a ski mask.
*Three hours later*
Matt:  I forgot to get one of those baklavas.
Me:  Baklava?
Matt:  Yeah.  The thing that goes around your face and head.
Me:  A ski mask?
Matt:  No.
Me:  Well, it's not baklava because baklava is food.  Mom makes it.
Matt:  No.  You're thinking of bok choy.
Me:  No.  But that's food also.
Ten minutes and lots of Google searching later...

Matt:  BALACLAVA!!!

Me:  Ahhhhh.  You were SO close!

And now we BOTH know that a smock is worn while painting, a ski mask is a tight fighting head and face covering, baklava is a Middle Eastern dessert, bok choy is Chinese cabbage and a balaclava is a wool head and neck covering (NOT to be mistaken for a ski mask).

And now you know too!
